THE MAISON / YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy notice.

Clear information about the personal data used when you visit Rouzata.com, contact Chargui, or place an order.

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Who is responsible?

Chargui, the home business making Rouzata, is responsible for personal data processed through rouzata.com. Chargui is based in Veenendaal, the Netherlands. For privacy questions or requests, email tarek.bndriss@gmail.com.

What information do we use?

For an order, we use your name, email address, delivery choice and address, bottle quantities, order amount, and any note you add. Gift orders can also include a recipient’s name and your gift message.

For business, event, or feedback forms, we use the contact and message details you choose to send. We publish feedback only when you separately give permission for anonymous publication.

The optional address helper sends the text you type into its search box to PDOK so it can suggest a Dutch address. You can skip the helper and enter your address yourself.

Our hosting and security services may process basic technical information such as an IP address, browser request, and time of access to deliver and protect the site. Google Fonts is loaded from Google when a page uses those fonts.

Why do we use it?

We use order information to prepare your order, arrange collection or delivery, answer you, and handle after-sales questions. We use enquiry details to reply with availability or a quote. These uses are needed to take steps you request or fulfil an order.

We keep financial and order records where needed to meet legal and tax duties. We use limited technical data to keep the site working and prevent misuse. We rely on your permission before publishing feedback; you can withdraw that permission for future use by emailing us.

Payments and service providers

Order details are saved in the site’s order database and sent to Chargui by FormSubmit for fulfilment. Rouzata does not collect your card or bank login details. When checkout opens a bunq.me payment request, Bunq processes the payment; Rouzata sends Bunq the order reference and amount to create and check that request.

We use service providers for website hosting and the order database, email delivery, payments, optional Dutch address suggestions, and fonts. Their own privacy information explains their processing: Cloudflare, FormSubmit, bunq, PDOK APIs, and Google. Provider processing may involve systems outside the European Economic Area; consult their notices for the locations and safeguards that apply to their services. We do not sell your personal data or use it for targeted advertising.

How long do we keep information?

We keep order and financial records for as long as needed to complete the order and meet applicable legal record-keeping duties. In the Netherlands, business accounting records generally have a seven-year retention period. We keep other order contact details only while they are needed for fulfilment, support, or a legal claim. We normally keep unanswered business and general enquiries for up to two years after our last exchange. Feedback remains in use until you withdraw permission or we remove it.

The basket and a recent order reference are stored in your browser’s local storage so the basket and tracking link work. You can clear this data in your browser. Service providers may keep their own records under their retention terms.

Cookies and browser storage

This site currently uses browser local storage for basket contents and a recent order reference. It does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. Your browser may make technical requests to the providers listed above when loading the site or using address suggestions.

Your GDPR / AVG rights

This notice explains how personal data is handled under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), known in the Netherlands as the AVG.

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to some processing, or receive data you provided in a portable format. You can also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Email tarek.bndriss@gmail.com and say what you need; we may ask for reasonable information to verify your request.

You can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. We may retain information where the law requires it or where it is needed to establish or defend a legal claim.

Changes

We may update this notice when our website or data practices change. The latest version and update date will always appear on this page.
